Amazon.com: Lost and Found: The True Story of Jaycee Lee Dugard and the Abduction that Shocked the World (St. Martin's True Crime Library) (9780312388270): John Glatt: Books

Jaycee in People magazine, with her new book. Jaycee Dugard Tells ABC's Diane Sawyer About Giving Birth While Held Prisoner : People.com

Really interesting, how she gave birth...no medical help. I wish only the best for her and her family. Not that she needs the money, but this should be an interesting book.

What is really sad is that this book by the very brave Jaycee Dugard will be dwarfed by the publicity from the Casey Anthony case.

At least she is on the cover of People this week, not Casey Anthony. She is a hero, and no one is paying much attention to her. Why are we more interested in dogging this CA, her story is over, she is aquitted, game over.

But Jaycee suffered a lifetime of tragedy. And it really brings to light the story of what resilience is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychological_resilience

Which is also part of why Elizabeth Smart has achieved such a remarkable recovery from her experience. I wonder if we will ever have a book written by her? There is a book out, http://www.amazon.com/Held-Captive-K...der_0060580208

It makes me wonder, how many other young girls could be held captive like Jaycee....

I watched the show and thought that Jaycee Dugart was one of the most remarkable people I have ever seen on television. Personable, bright and not even bitter. What an inspiration she is. Her mother was noteworthy too , for her strength and the fact that she never gave up hope. So gracious and brave.

One can not help thinking of the vast difference to the Casey Anthony family.

I think JAycee enjoyed her life with these people she had so many chances to leave. I think the real reason behind her story is she was getting jealous that the couple was paying her younger daughter more attention since Jaycee was not THE young type this couple was interested in

Her interview was very scripted. It was reported when they first spoke to her that her grammar was baby talk and she was uneducated.

I don't normally buy these types of books, but she is such an amazing person that I think I'll buy it.
