True. This was back in 2009 long before the trial. If there was anything to it, I would think the prosecution would have at least brought it up. They couldn't have sealed evidence like that.

Then again....who knows?

Its the aftermath of outrage that she was aquitted on all three counts, hoping theres a crumb of evidence to bring about new charges.

I've listened to the tapes. I followed the case from the very beginning, from when the news first broke. She knew something was wrong, but she didn't know what. It's easy to say in retrospect that she should have known this or that, but when you are in the middle of it (and in denial too), it's not so easy. Casey is the one responsible for Caylee's death, not Cindy.

It is too bad that there is no standing for an civil case in Caylee's death. But I have no doubt, that Casey will end up like OJ, back in a cell, eventually, evil catches up, Karma will come around for Casey's turn.

It was reprted to them that a child my family knew was being punched and otherwise physically beaten, and never was an investigfation was conducted. Not even so much as a visit to the home. Our tax dollars hard at work eh?
this breaks my heart. I have reported such cases and nothing was done either...it was hard to let it go.....

Ha, an entire thread could go into the "child welfare" system. I used to teach school, and routinely reported cases of neglect, suspected abuse, and even out right visible abuse. One child told me not to report, his Father was in the system, so they took his case more seriously, but the boy told me, they would put him in a group home for a week or two, then he would end up back with his Dad, who would ignore him for two or three months, literally, not speak to him, then, it would start all over. Even the kids in the system think it is broken.

Casey would have just been "investigated' if that, and file closed, the kid does not have any broken bones, next! Even with broken bones, it is still just an "accident".

She knew, now whether something could have been done? I'll have to agree with other posters, maybe not.

But we'll never now , will we?

Theres a difference between denial and out right lies.

They don't close cases that fast. In fact parent and child appear in court that takes weeks....You've been misinformed. They're put into temporary foster care and thats a last resort if they can't find relatives first.

These kids are even given their own attorneys now appointed by the court.
