No ... Sims nor Mason got a a penny for their work ... both joined the team pro bono. All the money went to Baez he is the only attorney that received any money.

Supposedly according to the news in October, Cheney Mason is writing a book ... but I have no desire to read anything Mason would write.

Cheney Mason strikes me as a snake oil salesman...not the southern gentleman he tries to portray!

Ashton's book said the prosecution was happy to see Cheney Mason join the defense team hoping perhaps Mason would bring some respectability. It seems Mason was a well respect attorney until the Anthony trial and instead of bringing them up Mason was drug down to the Baez and Anthony levels. In closing ... shooting the bird at the media ... real classy act.

When Baez did allow Dorothy Sims to question a witness I didn't think she was that great either. JMO

But they won!

Perhaps this pic....

Casey Anthony defense attorney Cheney Mason was pictured giving reporters and onlookers his “finger of affection,” as Judge Belvin Perry dubbed the gesture during the high-profile trial.
Last week, Perry sentenced a courtroom spectator to six days in jail for holding his middle finger up to a prosecutor.
On Tuesday afternoon, after a not guilty verdict was read in Casey Anthony’s murder trial, Mason was seen using his middle finger at a downtown Orlando restaurant.

Casey got away with her finger of affection many times during jury selection and the trial.

Baez sticks his tongue out at court camera ...

Then Casey flips the bird ...

This was a real classy group!!

No class isn't even the word for them. The actions speak for themselves, Poor Caylee.

My 'classy' comment was sarcasm ... the entire group was slime ... they slithered in and out and about the courthouse.

Caylee who (sarcasm again) ... this beautiful child was totally forgotten after her body was dumped in that swampy area.

But the Slithery-Dee bunch won and I may not like it but I have accepted it. I may beeitch and moan about it ... but I believe what goes around comes around.
