I have said this for some time. We don't send a strong enough message to child abusers. This is a Canadian case but, it's the same all over. It is a disgrace. That poor baby suffered and those idiots are clueless.....I would have smacked his defense counsel for his statement that the defendant didn't mean to hurt the child when he put her feet in scalding water....he was just playing....gggrrrrrrr !

That's not cluelessness, that's just a flat-out lie. Something that no doubt came out of the defendant's own mouth.
