A little background for the folks who haven't followed this story. Amy Senser, wife of former Minnesota Viking Joe Senser who owns a chain of restaurants and has had a long time radio voice job, was involved in a hit and run fatality some time back (about a year). She was on her way home and ran over a man putting gas in his car (a poor man who works as a cook) on a freeway off-ramp. She hit him and drug him up the ramp some distance before running him over. She then drove home, leaving him for dead when she was within a block or so of an emergency room. She parked the car in the garage and waited 24 hours to have her attorneys report the "accident" to the authorities.

Now she is saying that she didn't know she hit anyone. She hasn't done one day in jail yet and a man died.

Amy Senser fatal hit-and-run: 'His blood was all over her car,' prosecutor says - TwinCities.com

That is typical. A football player in Miami killed someone driving with a DUI, he got thirty days in jail...Wow...that is really sending a message...

Default The Golden rule

As said by actor Keith David in the film "They live"

"He who has the gold makes the rules"

Amen, Keith!

This save the wealthy attitude is just now becoming public? In Raleigh we had a successful plastic surgeon drunk driving homocide and his victim was a 22 year old ballerina. His defense was he had to stay out of jail because he could do so much good and he was a stellar member of the community. Fortunately the jury didn't buy it. Hopefully the jury will do the right thing and not be swayed by money and spin doctoring lawyers.

I am still trying to figure out how Rebecca Zahau bound her legs and tied her own hands behind her naked body before jumping off the balcony and hanging herself at the 27 room, beachfront mansion of her millionaire boyfriend Jonah Shacknai.

I do recall when Amy Senser killed that poor guy.

Update on the story. She left the concert she was at with her daughters and their friends because of a migraine headache but was seen driving erratically before the accident by a 911 caller. One of the daughters friends say they are pretty sure she was drinking. Their Dad had to pick them up at the concert after waiting for their mother for 45 mins and when they got home found their mother passed out in the front porch and the car parked in the garage. Sure Amy, you were too drunk to get to your bed but you were aware enough to put the car away and shut the garage door. But she didn't know she hit someone--right!
