Powell Found Guilty of 14 Counts of voyeurism (justice, today, news)

A jury found Steven Powell guilty today on 14 counts of voyeurism for taking pictures of girls and women in various states of undress for the purpose of sexual gratification. The charges stemmed from an investigation into his missing daughter-in-law.

Sentencing is scheduled for June 15.

Justice was served in part...If they could only get him to confess his participation in Susan Powells disappearence.

From what I've read, he took a leave from work, rented a car, put a couple thousand miles on the speedometer the week she was reported missing.

I have no doubt he was abusive in some manner to his kids when they were young. Molested them? Inappropriate sexual displays? Exposed them to porn? Voyeurism towards them? He did something to make one daughter have nothing to do with him and to make Josh turn out like he did. His ex-wife has never spoken about him as far as i know. That household had to have been pretty odd to say the least.

I drove through Puyallup the other day and for some reason was thinking about the Powell case...the truth about what happened to Susan will probably never come out.

Those little boys deserved better. A sad story.

I do too. I just can't imagine the horror for those boys.

JPowell no longer having his father as an alliance bc of imprisonment the walls were closing in. Once JPowell caught wind of the kids not being returned to his custody and why.

Actually, what he did was pretty predictable based on the profile he fit, that or completely disappear with the kids.

I don't know why more precautions weren't taken, but its too late to talk about the should've and would'ves.
