That's a situation where the point you and OP seem to be going for could actually be made.

Trying to make that point with the OP's post is ridiculously idiotic.
Are you actually trying to make some sort of point? You're rambling so much, I'm just not sure...

Is a 17 year old an innocent child? Or a young adult capable of assault and murder? One or the other...

And my point isn't really against you, it's the few dozen "Trayvonistas" on the other threads that moan over and over about the innocent little child, ignoring that he's a 17 year old football player well able of causing severe physical harm should he assault someone.

Much like the case of Daniel Adkins, I suspect this will be ignored in the mainstream media, since it doesn't fit well into a liberal agenda.

This case will likely result in a murder guilty plea (Alabama technically doesn't have a 2nd degree murder statute) and a 30-40 year sentence in which he'll be paroled by the time he's 45 or 50.

How did you miss all the rants about gun control in discussions about the other case?

Agree, this has race written all over it, still doesn't make it a political issue.

Alabama is notoriously one of most racist states in the country, documentories back it up.

"According to online court records, Washington has pending charges against him involving burglary, receiving stolen property and possession of and receiving a controlled substance".

Couple the above taken from the link...its fairly safe to say you've got an angry teen with racial issues, along with addiction to street drugs, living a criminal lifestyle at a young age.

So why was this criminal free to walk the streets? Once again the criminal justice system fails to lock up criminals and innocent people suffer for it.

Honestly, the answer to that question would be a book. Its no surprise the criminal justice system fell short, thats where the politics come in.
