i don't mind the professionals doing it, because they are trained professionals. I just don't like blind vigilantism; the one's that are blinded by hate. they always say the worst disasters are from the best intentions.
i do believe that he should get charged and convicted with more than just extortion and the 19 year old should be charged and be convicted for child enticement; it would be fair and just. this isn't a case where the 19 year old was online and was contacted; it was him responding to an ad on Craigslist. I do believe that they shouldn't do shows like to catch a predator and shows like that, because it gives people the ideas that they can do things of this nature, which they can not do.
Agreed. The vigilante should definitely be charged with extortion at the very least, maybe even robbery. If he had turned the evidence over to the police without making any contact with the 19 year old, he probably wouldn't be facing any charges. Both made very stupid choices and should face the consequences of their actions.
He's right about that NLVgal.... too bad the young man went too far, which he clearly did, and had no right to..He could have done something good, but he blew it when he thought he had the right to assault the guy...As for the slimy reporters taking the family picture off facebook to put in their article, we must by now all be aware that if it's on facebook, it's fair game...I really don't know if it's legal or not though.

How would you like to be that assclown's brother or sister? Or maybe his mom or dad? I find this more intriguing than the original article. So now in America we are off to punishing the entire family just like they do in North Korea?
