Missed it. If anyone saw it, how aligned with the facts of the case (at least what has been presented to us) was the movie? Anything new or inferred? Any other characters considered major players?

I watched it. It was a horrible film. I suppose there was so much history to cover that it just couldn't be done in less than two hours. It kept jumping around to whatever the filmmakers had decided were important scenes. No continuity at all. The acting was flat, and if someone had watched the movie not knowing all the details brought out in the trial this movie would make no sense to them (IMO).
Nothing was really changed from the testimony that was televised. No new suspects, etc.
LOL, it's funny; most of the time the true crime movies are 'better' than the actual events but this one didn't even come close. It was a waste of time. I actually missed the last ten minutes; had to take my dogs outside!
I was curious how they handled the killing portion but it was just so badly done I couldn't stand to watch it long enough to find out. So, how did they do the part where she was butchering him ?
Also, the little bit I saw made Travis look like a bully and not very smart. It was just dumb.

I'm gonna say something you won't care to hear...Might be the producers take on the case?

I hate to say it, but that was probably the 'best' scene in the movie. At least, it disturbed me as I was watching it, even if it wasn't really graphic. They showed the throat-slashing scene from somewhat of a distance. Even after hearing all the facts in the trial and knowing what was going to happen, it was chilling to watch.
When arias was spying on Travis and his new girlfriend, they showed her actually being in the house. I thought she was looking through a window. Dramatic license, I guess...

Not likely.
After all, the film was being made while the trial was going on. No one knew what the outcome would be.
I think the producers were just trying to be neutral and not take sides. Of course, nothing Travis is alleged to have done to Jodi compares to what Jodi did to him!
