Hayleigh Cummings update? (children, case, serial killer, divorce)

I was wondering if anyone heard anything new about the Hayleigh Cummings case. She was the to the 5 year-old who went missing in Florida in February of 2009. At the time this case came out, I thought that there was a serial killer in the SE. Because it was around the same time that we heard about the Caylee Anthony and Somer Thompson cases. I'm guessing that Hayleigh might have been used to pay off drug debts.

Misty (the dad's 18 year-old gf) said that she was sleeping in bed with Hayleigh and Hayleigh's brother and when she woke up in the middle of night, Hayleigh was missing. Misty said that she found the backdoor open.

The last I heard was that Misty & Ron (the dad) got married and divorced a few months later. Misty and Ron were arrested for drug charges. Misty allegedly was arrested for drug charges 25 years like drug trafficking and prescription drug use. Ron was sentenced to 15 years.

As far as I am aware, there is nothing new. Unfortunately, I think, This has become a cold case.

There is so many missing, unsolved ... Baby Amir Jennings, Holly Bobo, Baby Gabriel Johnson, Baby Lisa Irwin, Kyron Horman, Baby Sky Metalwala, Baby Ayla Reynolds, Baby Aliayah Lunsford ... all cold case files now and there is so many more adults and children. They are either all dead or perhaps in 10 or 20 years will turn up like Jaycee Lee Dugard.

I always thought Misty had something to do with Hayleigh's disappearance.

I agree I think Misty hit her too hard or something and somehow killed Hayleigh and Misty and her cousin threw hayleighs body in the lake near their house and the aligators ate the body (sorry gross I know ) but a fact of life in florida . We will probably never know what happened unless one of them comes forward on their deathbed and tells what happened .Like so many unsolved such as the peterson woman the one that was married to that smug sob drew peterson , those you mentioned carolina as well . Their bones might be found years from now but I dont hold out hope for finding all of them .
