He plead guilty, and took a plea. No death penalty. No trial.
I'm sure the death penalty was the motivation in this deal but I'm glad the victims don't have to get on the stand and testify now. I'm glad the victims agreed to and the prosecution offered the deal.

Life + 1,000 years.

I saw a picture of each of them today and they look so good. I'm so glad they seem to be doing better and I read about Amanda Berry's appearance at the Cleveland concert last night. I'm so glad for all of them, I hope their lives keep going up and up. They really deserve it.

Just watched Michelle Knight testify on CNN. Incredible. A strong and courageous woman. So scary to think we live and interact with monsters on a daily basis.

Ariel Castro is a demon. He'll probably be segregated but they should house this monster with other sexual predators in the prison. Let him endure what he inflicted on these ladies and the ex-wife he used to beat on.

Pray for continued healing for his victims.

Castro's statements were even more pathetic and insulting than expected. At least he has pleaded guilty. Hopefully he won't sue to see the kid and that this is the LAST we ever hear of this monster.

It's remarkable how fast things have moved. It's been just under three months since their rescue and he's now being put away for good and the women are growing stronger everyday.

He was already denied..any judge that would give this demon visitation rights belongs right along side him in prison

He is a real sicko. Saying there was harmony in the house----I guess he would think that when he controlled everything, all the time. The worse part was saying the girls had many sexual partners before him and they even wanted sex sometimes.

Maybe now the women can get on with their lives and knowing he is locked up for life will help.
