Are you taking a course in modern journalism because your headline to this thread was very misleading....much like journalists do today.

It should have read, "Jury Acquits Man Who Killed Escort Who Took His Money and Left Without Performing Services."

That's more accurate. The fricken thing is juicy enough without pandering to an audience.

Poor girl...NOT!!!

She was playing with fire and finally got burned.

Making a living by cheating people and potentially enraging them in the process isn't wise.

Its sad someone would risk their life over $150 but its a risk she was obviously willing to take.

I hate thieves...and I don't understand how people are stupid enough to steal in Texas..

It is an appalling case and sets a bad precedent. Only a blood-thirsty lunatic would think a theft of $150 warrants the death penalty.

Just curious so if someone breaks into your home and tries to steal your $150 jewerly you don't think he should be shot?

This was not a home invasion.

The Police testified at the trial during their investigation and questioning he never mentioned the theft of money.

But prosecutors argued this law didn’t apply to Gilbert as it is intended for law-abiding citizens, which he couldn’t be as he had solicited a prostitute.'

Kill somebody over a $150? Life is cheap to you. If you will kill somebody for that, you would probable kill them for taking your parking space.

Doesn't matter,he should be in jail.
No one uses Craigslist to pay 150 dollars for a half hour of conversation.

IMO she went there to rip him off, but the lesson should have been his to learn. She didn't deserve to die.
