Did any one see the list of disgraced NFL players just for this year alone?
What the heck is wrong with these over paid players?
I hate to say it but sometimes you can take the clown out of the circus but you can't get the circus out of the clown. Then give them time and money and they are bound to get into trouble.
What a sad case. I'm a Patriots fan and it was great to see Hernandez on the field making plays, when he wasn't hurt that is.
It seems like the evidence against him is overwhelming. The only good thing is it should be a easy transition for Hernadez to prison since he is used to wearing numbers on his shirt only this time it will be a bit longer than #81.
"Benjamin Tobias, a Gainesville police department spokesman, said the police did not arrest Hernandez. But after the severity of Taphorn’s injury became evident, the department recommended a charge of felony battery, which for Florida adults carries a maximum punishment of five years in prison.
What happened in the case from there is unclear. Tobias said Hernandez could have been given deferred prosecution or prosecutors may have decided not to file official charges. It’s also possible Taphorn was not willing to testify against Hernandez, and Tobias said victim testimony is very important in felony battery cases."
Sad, sad, sad. Years of aggressive behavior left unchecked, goodness knows how many other times he was given a pass because of who he is or because his victims were afraid of retaliation if they spoke out.
I have a strong suspicion that this guy was abusing steroids for years - not that that makes him any less accountable for his actions, at all.

Good suspicion, lassie. That didn't even occur to me although it should have. I know from personal experience how aggressive steroids can make you. Muchos! It also effected me that I was invincible and could do anything I wanted.
