Texas Law. As long as Texans agree with it no one can do anything about it. Just be glad there are other 49 states.

She was one of those scammers who places hooker ads then rips off potential johns and has the driver/boyfriend for muscle if the john resists the robbery. Very common. "Refusing sex" was her career choice and in this case it ended badly. This is more analogous to a drug ripoff, if anything.

Because here after dark you are going to mind your own business and be honest or you might just get your arse lit up!

Sorry, no sympathy here. It was a business transaction, and the woman defaulted the "contract", which was, "sex for cash", if she wanted to terminate the contract, her obligation was to return the money. She was a thief.

She had a choice.

I wonder how often this woman had done the same scam, knowing most men would not report the theft for an illegal transaction. She scammed the wrong man this time.

There was extenuating circumstances in this one. It is not as cut and dry as the heading would suggest. The woman was putting herself at great risk by offering sex for money and then taking the money and renaging. Like jasper12 said she should have returned the money if she wasn't willing to fulfil her part of the bargain.

I'm not saying she deserved to have been murdered just that her actions did put her at much greater risk. People would feel more sympathy if she was just a victim of chance and through no fault of her own was murdered. People who take risks with their lives like in this case are just playing Russian roulette.

Those women don't know what kind of crazies they may be encountering. Philip Markoff, the Craig's List Killer was a medical student and a total nut.

I'm not saying she deserved to die, but she should have just given the guy a refund. That is probably a big racket. And like I keep saying the gov't needs to legalize prostitution and tax it. Require health certificates. Give the IRS something do ... chase down hookers and pimps.

Where did she say she promised him sex?
Maybe he paid her for conversation only, but wanted sex as part of the deal?

Doesn't matter,he should be in jail.
