A Miami man has reportedly admitted to killing his wife and posting a picture of her dead body on Facebook. Derek Medina, 31, turned himself into the Miami-Dade police after claiming to have shot and killed his wife, Jennifer Alfonso.
A confession to the murder appeared on Medina's personal Facebook page. It read: "I'm going to prison or death sentence for killing my wife. Love you guys. Miss you guys. Take care. Facebook people you'll see me in the news."
Before the confession appeared on Medina's Facebook page, a gruesome photo of Alfonso, dead and mangled. Above the photo says, "RIP Jennifer Alfonso."
Facebook friends commented on the photo, asking "What happened?"
After the photo was posted, a message was posted saying Medina was fed-up with being physically abused by Alfonso.
"My wife was punching me and I'm not going to stand anymore with the abuse so I did what I did. Hope u understand me," the message read.
This is a young animal, he killed her and posted the "trophy" of it on the internet for everyone to see, much like the mentality of the young people today. See what I did. I don't care if it is unlawful or disgusting I like that everyone will be talking about ME. So sad, the majority of citizens won't press this kind of activity as super unacceptable as long as it doesn't directly affect them, and ends quietly. So they can go along with their lives.
The couple were married, divorced and married again in 2012.
According to Medina's father; his wife allegedly threatened him with a knife.
Perhaps she was abusive; after reading the article below the guys a bit off.
Elsewhere in his writings, Medina talked about his experiences with aliens and lamented that humans are not working on a time travel machine needed for an 'evacuation plan.'
Florida! Again! Why do so many crazy people live there?
