...and 32 ATTEMPTED murders. He'll be bunking soon with Sgt. Bales, I guess. What I hope they take into consideration on this case is that the guy WANTS the death penalty. That's the best reason I can think of not to give it to him. I want him to enjoy those stoma sites and the smell of his colostomy bag as long as possible.

Jury finds Nidal Hasan guilty of murder

What are your thoughts on this guy?

He should not have had a trial. I consider him a terrorist. Straight to Gitmo.

I've been to Fort Hood when my son was in the military before he went to Kuwait; I figured something terrorist related would eventually happen there.

I don't advocate for death penalty...this is the exception.

He probably wishes he were shot and killed on the spot, thats a badge of honor.

Unless he has information for the governments use, hes a worthless terrorist who doesn't deserve a meal.

Maybe we should toss him in the ocean like we did bin Laden, so he gets "72 sturgeons" instead...

Virgode, I agree he is not worth keeping alive, but I sure don't want my tax money going into the horrendously expensive legal machinery that grinds into action when someone gets the death penalty. Maybe that is different when the guy is under military jurisdiction. At least I hope so! But someone, somewhere is going to see him as a martyr, even a hero, if he gets the firing squad, and that is the worst possible outcome in my eyes.

They already see him as a hero.
