A friend of mine recently got into a relationship with a man who turned out to be a psychopath and a sex offender, which I found out when she gave me his full name and I looked him up online. He's wanted in Texas and a fugitive from justice, a sexual predator who has victimized girls under 12. I've met this guy and he's really really bad news! My friend told me she found out he'd done all the same violence and abuse to another woman before she got involved with him.
My friend told me all the horrible things he did to her and I got pretty angry about it all. I called Crimestoppers on the guy, giving them his address, current alias and known haunts. From what I found online about him he's wanted by the Dallas PD back in Texas, so I'm really hoping they come get him off our streets here, he's a dangerous and very nasty guy.
Has anyone else here used Crimestoppers? Do they really do anything about guys like this? I don't want any more women to be hurt by this guy, and if they won't do anything I'll go at it another way, but I want him off the streets and put away.
UPDATE: I got a call this morning from Nancy, my friend who had been involved with this bad guy, and she tells me that said bad guy is going to be arrested very soon, because the local cops got a call from Crimestoppers! Yeah!!!!
I'm so glad I called them!
This is such great news. It turns out that Nancy talked to a cop who is building the case against him and he has a record in other counties as well for the same kind of sex predator stuff he did to her here, and the cops see him as a predator who really needs to be in a jail cell ASAP. I can't wait to hear that this reptile has been arrested and will never hurt another woman!
