Don't think this was real.
Otherwise you could just drink a pint of water before you go in and then walk out with $15,000 in gold each day.

Add to that a metabolism loss of 2.5 L a day (about 10 pounds), you could stuff yourself silly with gold if you didn't eat or drink during the day.
