This is scary. He left a night club and then, *poof* - gone.

Seems he was club hopping and disappeared after the last club. However the side door of his dwelling was open, and his keys were on the counter. Also his car was at his residence. Not much coverage on this case in Denver, I wonder if the police have any leads. There's only a little surveillance that we know of, and the police aren't talking or even saying if his phone records have been released, etc.

Surveillance video shows Gilbertson leaving Charlie's Nightclub on East Colfax Avenue late Thursday night.

“He's leaving the bar alone at 11:32 p.m.,” Saesan said.

According to the timestamp on the surveillance video, Gilbertson got into a Lyft about eight minutes later.

His family told Denver7 they spoke with the Lyft driver, who told them that Gilbertson said he "had a bad night, and had been harassed at the bar."

The driver told Gilbertson’s family he took Adam to his car, which was parked in a Ballpark neighborhood lot.

“That car somehow got from the parking lot to his house. He's not there, the door's unlocked -- keys on the counter,” Saesan described.

As the family continued their investigation, they found new surveillance video of Gilbertson leaving Syntax Physic Opera bar at 12:53a.m. on Friday.

He only lives about three blocks away, but surveillance video appears to show him leaving in the opposite direction.

Thoughts??

I'm familiar with the area that he lives in and went missing from. I know that the family hired a PI. Hoping that will help them find answers.

The direction he walked towards has a strip mall (vacant K mart and other businesses that would be closed at that hour). These businesses likely have surveillance so I'm sure the police checked those. There are some large vacant lots close by and the river (more like a small, slow moving creek) in the area as well. A lot of homeless hang out around there. I haven't heard anything about organized searches but hoping they did some.

There was an organized search today and a man's body was found in the river. The identity has yet to be confirmed.

The family has confirmed that the body found is Adam's. Sad for the family.

Sure is, real tragedy. Doing some looking around, seems the bar he had attended that night gave him some problems specifically what I don't know. Looked at some reviews on the place also and found many people disliked the place. It used to be a town favorite, but not anymore.

That is really sad. Sounds like suicide, or foul play.
