I remember this story - I was a teenager at the time.

I'm wondering why this story is so much in the forefront of CNN for the last month?

Probably based on J Toobins book...


plus it was a huge story back when all this happened...to bring out facts that were not known at the time is interesting to those of us that followed the story.

I was only 17 when she was kidnapped and didn't follow the whole thing other than what I just happened to hear on the news. But I was fascinated with all the history when I visited the Hearst Castle a couple of four years ago.

I remember it, and it saturated the news from '74 to years afterwards. I don't need to see anyone else's "perspective."
