This is news in my small NJ hometown. In 1968, when I was 10, a 13-year-old girl named Jackie Harp was found strangled in the woods. She was in the color guard of the local drum-and-bugle corps and was strangled with the leather strap used to carry her banner.

We never thought it would be solved, but now, 51 years later, a serial killer has confessed to her murder as well as that of others.
