I don't understand how they may "reopen"the case if it was never solved? Is a cold case considered not "open"?

I'm on my cell and am not sure if the autopsy article was posted. Someone posted it on her WS thread

This is the latest I've found. Nothing new but it talks about Dodd as being a potential suspect in the murder since he was the officer who Candace had an altercation with a week prior to her death.

Deputy Robert Dodd’s Murderous Conflict of Interest

Hopefully the right people will see the article to question why and how he had the evidence. I hope the CBI is investigating and not gonna sweep it under the rug

I agree. I keep checking for updates and there hasn't been much in the last few weeks. I really hope CBI does it's job with the utmost integrity.

CBI has handed some info over to the DA regarding the investigation involving Dodd, but the investigation is not complete.

Hi all, I am a Canon City native and have been fallowing this case very closely. I am also a friend of Rick's that discovered the evidence in the storage , and face book friend of the mother. Evidence of corruption is mounting. I will post details here for you all soon , but first I want to get permission as it is related yet different. I will say it has to do with witness intimidation by fractions of three police dept.s here in Fremont County.

The latest that I've heard is that the CBI still has not turned over their investigation to the local authorities and Lt. Robert Dodd who was on administrative leave, retired and moved to Texas.
