Just finished reading the story about Ed Gein on Crime Library, no mention about dancing in the moonlight and he did not dig up his mother.

Not sure what the criteria is for determining "worst"...but Garry Ridgway, "Green River Killer" in Washington State, was convicted of 47 murders,
admitted to 71,
now thought by authorities to actually be 90+

Wikipedia/source.

While he did perform necrophilia, the worst killer other than the numbers of dead are those that actually kill and then eat/keep body parts. IMO Daumer still is king there.

Going just by the list you provided to vote on, my vote is for Gacy -- torturing kids to death is el wrongo. Even Albert Fish didn't torture the kids, he just strangled them and ate them. Going by body count, it would have to be Gary Ridgway. Ed Gein gets an honorable mention for being weirder than a peanut-butter-and-sardine sandwich, but he only killed 2 people.

You never hear of Charles Ng. He killed more women than Bundy and he did terrible things like using a drill on their private parts when they were alive. Why the reticence on NG?

Well, Ng had a working partner -- Leonard Lake. They were vile beyond vile, but you'd have to divide the total number of victims by 2.

It's a matter of so many serial killers, so few voting slots on a City-Data poll.

I just finished a book about Dayton Leroy Rogers. He would pick up prostitutes and torture them. He had a foot fetish and he cut off some of the prostitutes feet with a hacksaw, presumably while they were still alive.

Henry Lee Lucas is also underrated, maybe because he also had a working partner?

I think they couldn't confirm a lot of the claims Lucas made.
