Casey is not a normal person. A normal person who loses a child would not behave the way she did unless she killed her child herself. Any mother would flip out and have called the police at the first sign that something was wrong. She didn't call anyone for a what... a month? but it was her mother who actually called.

Very sad and strange case indeed.
I want to know more about the Police department and the utility worker.
I have seen enough of the family.

I say try her, convict her, and turn her loose in the general population of the prison.

I'm sure some of the mothers in there are very creative.

The whole thing is just so sad and heartbreaking.

May Caylee now rest in peace.
Thanks for the update Torn, I didnt know that. Well... she's obviously out of her mind. But she does know right from wrong, if that's the criterion....

edit - wait - in this article it still says they're not going to seek it: The Associated Press: Skeletal remains don't reveal how Fla. girl died

Prisoners are notoriously mean and violent to kid abusers/molesters. She'll be miserable. I say don't give her the death penalty but let her rot in there in gen. pop. and face the consequences of her actions every day when someone makes her their b****. Then maybe she'll think she had it easy when she had to deal with "that brat" who probably loved her unconditionally as a child loves a mother up until she murdered her.
