It is a disgrace that Madoff is still not in jail...I guess they want to get more info from him which they might think they can get it better when he is sitting at home, but how must his victims feel watching the man going home to his penthouse and already knowing that he is mailing jewelry and other stuff....
this shouldn't be possible!

I'm guessing that Roy Brown of Shreveport, LA didn't have the same lawyer as Madoff.

ktbs reports:
Quote:
A man who said he robbed a downtown Shreveport bank because he was out of a job and hungry has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for first-degree robbery.
for....

Quote:
The teller handed the man three stacks of bills and he took a single $100 bill, told her he was homeless and left, police said.

Brown surrendered to police the next day, telling them his mother didn't raise him that way.
So, steal and bilk charities out of billions and go home to posh pad and await trial, if you are homeless and steal 100 bucks, then turn yourself in because you are guilty... 15 years in prison.

Moral of the story, it isn't just lady Justice who wears a blindfold.

Dip him in black ink, and turn him over to the Oakland P.D.!
