This is the original story from about a year ago. This woman, with a history of unstable behavior, was granted visitation with her kids and killed one and critically injured the other the next day. She called the police to tell them she killed her kids.

She was given a plea deal. Life in prison.

That is way too sad. What goes through some people's mind is something I'll never understand..what on earth could you be thinking to kill your own children?

This mom got exactly what she deserved, especially since most prisoners have no respect for child killers/molesters/etc. Hopefully they'll put her in the general prison population and not keep her alone.

That is by far not enough! If it was up to me she would spend her sentence surrounded by the crime scene and autopsy photographs. That was nothing more than a vindictive act!

I absolutely HATE plea agreements in cases where there is no doubt! The bi*ch should have been charged with 1st degree murder and attempted murder, and had the death penalty as the sentence. And for those of you who feel "life in prison" is just that, think again. All it takes is a new governor, of either political party, to commute the sentence of any prisoner, for whatever "legitimate" reason is conceived. (Charles) Manson and family members come to mind, the Illinois governor who commuted the death penalty cases to life several years ago comes to mind, just to name a few.
