"The young Dutchman reportedly told Peruvian investigators he sat and sipped an espresso in his hotel room while the dead body of Stephany Flores lay sprawled on the floor, according to La Republica."
Joran's Mommy STILL believes in his innocence! It was stated on Nancy Grace last night that his mother believes his is innocent AFTER he admitted killing Stephany!. What a way to raise your son!
Her and Scott Petersons mom should get together and "do lunch"
She is still in denial. She may believe he was coerced into confessing. If it were my son, I might be doing the same thing. No one wants to believe their own child could do such a horrible thing. She probably believes everything he told her about what happened in Aruba, too.
I bet the stress of the Aruba fiasco contributed to the fathers death. I understand your position, but if it was my kid I would have to face the facts and she may be able to start doing that now, although I'm not holding my breath.
It seems many that were raised with parental enforcement that they could do "no wrong" grow up to have problems.

Little hard to dodge the facts in the Peru case....I'm sure she loves her son but being in denial isn't doing anyone any good....what about his two brothers..no info to be had on them

He has natural brothers besides the Kalpo (sp) blood brothers crew?? I'm not recalling that.

It's funny how a lot of those moms are like that -- blind, and real enablers. "She led my son on! She deserved whatever was coming to her! From, uh, whoever did this!"
I don't believe for a minute that the reason he killed her was because she called him out on his involvement with Natalie. He has to be used to that by now, he is known all over the world, so why would that set him off. He's lied about it for a long time now...
I think he tried to have sex with her and she told him she was a lesbian and wasn't interested. Now that would set off a guy like him big time, Mr. Macho I Can Get Any Girl I Want. I bet he said something like...hey, you haven't had me yet/you don't know what you're missing. Plus, he must have felt like a fool and in his psycho mind she "tricked him". I have no doubt in my mind this was the motive.
I just wonder why she went with him in the first place...do you think it was so late, she was tired and just wanted to crash somewhere? Please don't take my question the wrong way, I am not in any way blaming her...I just wondered if anything had come out about why she was with him.
My prayers go out for her soul and for her family.
