Wow - if that was your house I was going to offer to bring a bottle of wine (or 2!) when I arrive and sit with you on the veranda! Now that view is AWESOME, and worth moving an orange tree (or 12) for!

I've got some views, but not on a veranda and nothing quite of this nature. Still pretty nice in comparison to others. The neighborhood has awesome views, though, so your idea is still doable on a picnic table provided you don't mind lack of privacy.
