Hi, My wife and I have been here in Tucson for about a year and a half. We live out near Three Points. We are going to put a two car garage on our property and build a covered deck off the more scenic side of our house. I have plenty of room and will not have a problem with set backs. Our property is over 4 acres.

Has anyone had experience dealing with the county on building permits? I have looked on line but, the people I have spoken to that have been here forever think that it cost thousands for the permits and the process is way too involved. Most of these type of additions out here go up with out a permit and they really look like it.

Any stories would be appreciated. Thank you.
