Hello Everybody,

I will be moving to Tuscon in December to work in U of A.

Could you please let me know any good place to live near U of A. I am looking to rent a single bedroom apartment which is less than 5 miles from U of A.

Appreciate your inputs.

Thanks,
Randy

Those have been given dozens and dozens of times. Living by U of A should be put in FAQ! The forum is searchable.

I would stick with the Sam Hughes area, if you can afford it, or Blenman-Elm, which is just east of the UA. B-E is an easy bike ride to the UA or even walking distance in some cases. A good place to start your search is zillow.com, which will show you some rentals in those areas and will show the names and boundaries of the neighborhoods. You can zoom in and look out for industrial areas and other undesirable areas. Good luck.

How about some information about you and your needs, Wailing?

Are you of student age? Do you want to live in a student environment or would you prefer more adult type living conditions?

Also, how's your rent budget and do you have transportation or are you planning on walking or biking?

Sorry for the delay in my response.

I got a job in U of A as an UNIX Admin and most likely I would start working from mid of December.

My rent budget would be around 600 to 800 and I am planning to buy a car in Tucson.
