Well, with nothing else to add other than if you are the adventurous kind, there are many places to visit around the southwest including Mexico.

I think 55+ is the general rule.

That's what I thought JK. I actually went into that neighborhood back in 2007 when we were looking for a house. They said nothing about restrictions when I was there. Maybe they thought I was over 40 at the time (I was 38 back then).

I used to sell furniture in a large store in Tucson. I had MANY customers from Green Valley. I never met one who complained of crime or even had anything bad at all to say about the place. Most of them were thrilled to be there and spoke highly of their neighbors and their communities. One of my family members is the director of Casa de Esperanza, the community social service agency in Green Valley. Please check them out when you get to Green Valley. It's a great organization that has led the nation in pioneering inter-generational care -- offering opportunities for the elderly to interact with children for the benefit of both. They have great volunteers and plenty of fund-raising social events that community members seem to enjoy.

Green Valley is a very nice area. Elevation is about 400-500 feet higher than Tucson. It appears to be much greener as you drive around the backroads. I know it seems in the monsoon season they get slammed on a regular basis, more so that the Tucson area.
