For green in the Low Desert--------the older enclaves in the Phoenix area win hands down compared to Tucson.

I am referring to S Scottsdale, N Tempe, as well as the Arcadia district of Phoenix extending out to the Central Ave corridor in particular

You might check out Arizona Vacations, Arizona Map and Arizona Souvenirs - Arizona Highways Magazine and Friends of Arizona Highways Photo Workshops
to see some of the pics of the state and outer areas.
Last night on Az. Highways they featured Eager,Springerville,Alpine areas ...WOW !!
Hannigan Meadow was beautiful!! Big trees and lots of greenery!!
