when will they open the new one do you know? because if i like it, i will do my best to make the place successful.

When I was in the Campbell location two weeks ago, they said it would open in "about" three weeks. So you should be getting close. They are going in the old Blockbuster building from what I heard.

I drove by tonight and there were lights on, but no signs saying they were open... Their website says they are now taking applications so it has got to be real close now.

Brushfire BBQ on 22nd and Kolb is now open!!! . I tried the pulled pork sandwich with Brushfire Mild sauce with a side of creamy cole slaw. Delicious .

Well I am jealous! Hope they are succesfull with their expansion so we can get one in NW Tucson.. I am going to try and make it down to Rod's BBQ down on 4th this week. He is an original old time KC BBQ guy. Will let you know how it goes.

I always liked Rod's and Jack's for the sauce... Several places in Tucson in the 80s/90s served grilled meat with ketchup and called it BBQ. One in particular on Speedway comes to mind... awful. Don't remember the name, sorry...

A previous poster addressed the Memphis BBQ tour... do it! I wish Tucson had a Memphis-style joint when I lived there. Now living 40 minutes from TX and a few hours from Memphis and KC, it's take-your-pick time for BBQ.
