We just heard it was even more snow than they predicted....we are hearing some got over 15" and still snowing. Many without power. Bad timing as the leaves are still on the trees, this makes the tree limbs heavy and forcing them to break and fall on powerlines......there will be a lot without power tonight.

Feel like you're missing out, Mike? . . . ready to move back?

In retrospect, kinda makes July and August NOT SO BAD after all.

Well, the total for Jaffrey NH is 23 inches of wet snow. I don't miss it. I did learn last night my windows there are closed.

Bummer, I think I have forgotten about those 110 degree days now...lol.

clarification: so my family back east was expecting 6" but they got 20-25"! Nobody has power and they are struggling to clean up. School is already canceled for tomorrow. I wonder about Halloween??

As for my t-shirt by the fire, it was a tank-top!! LOL And Mike, the cigars were EXCELLENT! :-)

I remember WAY too many Halloween evenings following the kids around town while getting soaked by heavy, wet snow. Funny how a costume doesn't have the same impact when it is covered by a winter jacket!

Goshen,MA got an actual 25in. of snow but that was overshadowed by the 33in. in some of the hill towns. Most of us shivered in the dark for two days before power was restored and some towns won't get power back for three or four more days..Halloween has been rescheduled for this coming Saturday. Trees and branches are down everywhere, schools are closed and businesses are just starting to reopen.I'd trade 115 degree days for this mess anytime.Enjoy.

Denver and south to Colorado Springs, out east towards Kansas are expecting blizzard conditions again Tuesday night into Wednesday. Two weeks, two snowstorms. Yea! Not. Tucson's weather the past few days has been perfect!!

Hey... we got at least 4 inches snow up in the mountains this weekend (Santa Rita). It was gone by noon though.
