We need to service our 2003 Camry. We live in the Foothills area.

Any recommendations for a reputable center/honest mechanic in Tucson.
Not sure if we should go to the Toyota dealership, since they typically tend to sell more than what is required!

Thanks!

I've been happy with Dan's Toy Shop @ 2502 E Fort Lowell Road for my '99 Tacoma. They will not sell you what you don't need.

I lived in Phoenix until last year, moved to Tucson. Had a 1993 pickup, have a 2003 pickup now, always take them to the dealer because over the years w/ my cars I discovered that when I took them to different mechanics each time they rode like a piece of junk by the time they were 4 years old. My 1993 pickup ran smooth until I gave it up and bought the 2003 Tacoma.

There are only 2 Toyota dealers here. I have taken my truck to Precision Toyota on W Wetmore (closest to you), very satisfied with them. Not only did they drive me home when I had to leave my truck there, but they came to my apt to drive me back later that day. Desert Toyota does not do that (on E 22nd & Kolb).

I like to set an appt for 7:00 AM, eat breakfast there. They have bagels, donuts, coffee.
