This sounds like a boon to Tucson in that our neighbors spend money in Tucson. This article mentions one billion dollars per year in Pima County. I believe it. I used to work retail in the Tucson Mall area and a significant amount of our customers were from Sonora. Families of the U.S.-owned factories have money to spend and they can't get everything they'd like to buy in Hermosilla. When their numbers decreased after the legislature's "papers" antics, sales visibly dropped. Anything that would improve this situation is a help to our economy. We should keep manufacturing jobs in the U.S. but if corporations refuse to do that, at least we can welcome the people to Pima Co. to spend their money.

What the article doesn't clarify is if the stops listed are a regular route. Could this bus be taken from Tucson to Las Vegas and back without going into Mexico? Is there any other luxury bus line (not chartered) that runs between the two cities?

I noticed a new bus line office in Nogales AZ, that specializes in the same cities. I wonder if they are connected. There is an hour + delay for buses crossing into MX, that's one reason to catch it on the other side. www.tufesa.com.mx.
