Hey, what's a reliable transportation service to use when I fly across the country to Tuscon? I need a service that can pick me up at the airport and take me to my apartment.

Some googling and I'm finding 1 star reviews and very unhappy customers for the first few Tuscon transportation services I've found.

Well, short of renting a limo, I would say a taxi is your best bet. How far away from the airport is your apartment?

Tucson

SunTran actually provides service to the airport. Two buses: one goes Downtown and down 6th Avenue; the other goes down Alvernon. Arizona Stagecoach is the big door-to-door service operating from Tucson's airport. Never used them, so can't say much. Other than that, it's taxis and limos. The official list is here: Tucson International Airport - Ground Transport - Shuttles, Vans and Busses

I've used Carrie's Coaches (a Tucson cab company). Nice folks, reasonable cost, reliable.

I don't think I'm allowed to list a web-site on City-Data for a commercial company. Just Google the company name and the site will pop up.

that bus will take you to the Laos Transportation Center, which is right around the corner from several of the lower cost van services that aren't allowed near the airport.
