I go out into the desert, mostly south of Tucson, at least once a week with a 4x4 group (most from Green Valley). Here are some interesting bits of art I found in one abandoned cabin:

I wonder if those are ranch symbols? It'd be interesting if someone knew what they meant. Those are really neat paintings, too. I wonder if the artist is the one who owned the cabin and where he is now? I love this kind of a mystery!

The artist was Dave Powell a well known western artist. He winters in the Prescott area. He was probably in the area doing a painting when he added the artwork to the walls. The painting looks like its dated 1990 so its been there awhile.

Very interesting article. I wonder if anyone owns that cabin? That artwork is a gift for whomever owns it.
