Hi Folks,

I'm a PhD student from Brussels. I'll be coming to Tuscon to work at U of A for a couple of months. I'm wondering if there is easy way to get room for rent from mid of Jan to mid of Mar, 2016.
I appreciate any info.

Happy holidays.

Tade

There are several sources you can check. As a general rule of thumb and your situation applies here. The more money you are willing to spend, the more options you will have for an accommodating stay.

Contact the University housing office as they are used to this type of request. You are coming into town at a bad time for less expensive accommodations.

Definitely work this through the University if you can. Otherwise you should know that you are conflicting with the most difficult time to obtain a short-term rental in this town and while you will be able to find a place it is likely to cost you entirely too much. We have the combination of snow-birds and the Gem and Mineral Show at this time, so I hope the University can assist you in finding more reasonably priced accommodation.

Your stay also overlaps the Rodeo that comes to town at the end of February. If you mentioned a price range, I think people would be able to give you a better idea of what sort of options you would be looking at for the money you were looking to spend.
