Can anyone give me any information on preschools in Tucson? I currently work at our church preschool in Memphis. My two youngest attend as well. Our family may be moving to the area, and I would love any input and opinions on this area. Thanks.

Here is a link the Tucson Unified School District (TUSD) website with preschool information.

A quick search on Yahoo turned up these links.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the information. I will check this out. Has anyone had any personal experience with preschools?

My son went here part time and I was very happy with the school.

Default Good Quality Preschool Programs in Tucson, AZ

Go to the naeyc.org website for accred. programs. A bit more expensive but people with early childhood/child development backgrounds, not some of these places that call themselves "preschools" with no education backgrounds.

Our daughter went to St. Mark's Preschool & Kindergarten which is centrally located. My background is in early childhood education so I'm quite picky in this area!

Also St. Alban's has a wonderful reputation. Major cross streets are River Rd. & Sabino Canyon. Both schools might be recruiting so ask when you inquire.

Here are a few more top quality programs:

Second Street School (close to the university campus)
Tucson Community School (central location)

Registration is usually the first two weeks of February. The programs mentioned fill up right away.

Lots of luck!
