I would say anywhere you live can have a scary side. Where I used to live in Oregon was infested with meth users and labs. I had nothing to do with either users or the labs, so even though meth was prevalent, it did not impact me on a daily basis. Kind of the same thing with the border being close, if you are not involved in the drug trade, it is not likely you will have trouble with that element. Not saying that it cannot happen, just not very likely.

As for Sahuarita, I love that it is so close to Green Valley. Along with being one of the safest cities in AZ, it is also one of the fastest growing cities. That being the case, we in Green Valley get the benefit of the new stores and services that come to Sahuarita. All things considered, I really love Southeastern AZ, and especially the Green Valley/Sahuarita area!

As always, here is the link to my youtube channel if you would like to check out videos of the Green Valley area: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8U...8eKn9NSrCyA5zw

I am always open to questions about the area for anyone interested in Green Valley/Sahuarita. I would also be willing to make a video if someone has something specific that they would like to see.

You're right, bkolodzi. All places have a scary side for sure. Thanks for your comments; I think it sounds like the area would be a great place to relocate should I ever decide to do so.

Tonight's walk was a unique one.

We came across two bull snakes mating in the landscaping. After about ten minutes, six neighbors were shooting pictures and videos. Snake porn videos (g).

After 30 minutes, one snake took off quickly while the other one was holding onto the tail for dear life.

The snakes better be careful, the roadrunners have been very active the past week.

Did you get and post video anywhere? We have had a Roadrunner who has come to the house almost every day for the last 6 weeks or so and pecks on our patio windows. It has gotten to the point where my dog looks forward to him showing up. I have posted a couple videos of my dog chasing the Roadrunner around the back yard, but that is all she wants is to chase, you can obviously see that she does not want to actually catch her "friend".

Just waking up this thread. Many new videos posted on my youtube channel at: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8U...8eKn9NSrCyA5zw

I got some pretty good video of the Box Canyon/Sawmill fire in the Santa Rita's. I got some more up close and personal Javelina video and I did a little tour of our own local Casino which is the Desert Diamond Casino just off I-19 at the Pima Mine Road exit. Feel free to check these and a couple hundred more videos out.

Again, if someone would like a video of anything particular in the Green Valley/Sahuarita area, just ask here and I will see what I can do for you!!!
