New artwork at the 390th Memorial Museum within the Pima Air and Space Museum in Tucson caps off a 3-year remodeling project at the museum. It is based on a frequently-published photograph of B-17s during a key 1943 mission by the 390th bomber group over Germany in World War ll. The sculpture was designed by Brian Hagadon at GLHN Architects in Tucson.

An interesting and unique place; we have also taken their bus tour around the boneyard, and it's pretty amazing. Visitors come from around the world to see Pima Air & Space (Pima Air & Space Museum : Tucson, Arizona), the Boneyard and AMARG (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/309th_...neration_Group)

We toured PASM earlier this year and enjoyed it a great deal. One building was closed, this must have been what they were working on.
