Hubby is looking for a new job--I know the situation is a bit on the grim side here, but was wondering if there are better places than others to look--job boards specific to Tucson?

He's started his MBA program and has a BA in Criminal Justice, was working as a family communication liaison for a drug rehab most recently, but has significant background with juvenile offenders and working psychiatric facilities (both juvenile and adult). He'd like to go into private or corporate business of some sort, is willing to start at the bottom, as he's rather tired of social services and their lack of funding...

Thanks!

Indeed seems to be the best for general searches. CL is dicey as usual, large amounts of fake ads or repetitions of the same ones. simplyhired.com is an aggregator that might pull up something unique for him.

With his degree he might look at customs/border patrol.

Hope you found something. I'm still looking, so if I find another good source I'll post it here. Tough to change careers at my age, but not much choice.

Still looking. Have lots of apps in but waiting for calls. Same thing about changing careers here, too...

Some years ago a friend leased a home to an out-of-town couple who wanted to live in Tucson. They were both qualified in their various fields, but could not find suitable employment. He let them out of their lease when they went up to PHX experimentally and immediately found positions.

I don't consider myself a potential Phoenixian, but am now considering places still further north as compromises. This is a beautiful place, but it is a financial pit, unless one specialises in elderly medicine, in which case it probably feels like an unattended gold mine with free buckets.

Hard to find a job? No.

Hard to find the job you want? Yes. Or - rather - maybe, depending on your field.
