Does anybody know of a place in the Oro Valley area to play tennis?

Also, anybody know of the cheapest way to get to 4th street from Oro Valley- I've heard there are free shuttles that will at least drop off at the casinos down South. I have friends that visit on the weekends- we want to go out without having to worry about driving.

Thanks!!

I do not know about the casinos. But I know a great place to play tennis, but you have to join the fitness club. The El Conquistador Hilton hotel has a fitness, pool, tennis, et al. right there off of La Canada at 10555 La Canada. Have Fun!

We belonged to the El Conquistador tennis/pool. It was great--they have good programs for men, women, and children.

Are you looking for a place to play, or a club to meet people to play (opponents.)

Are you looking for the easiest way to 4th St, or 4th Ave?

Silly questions I know, but big differences between them both.

Default tennis in oro valley

Senior Citizen in Oro Valley would like someone to hit with (singles tennis) during the week. There is one public tennis court at a public park. But reservations are necessary from Oro Valley residents.

FWIW, here's info on the one and only public court available in OV (that I know of):

Cañada Del Oro Riverfront Park (http://www.orovalleyaz.gov/Town_Government/Parks_and_Recreation/Parks_Facilities/CanadaDeOro_Riverfront_Park.htm - broken link)
