places that you like. My husband is a fan of eateries/bars/sites that might be off the beaten path and not something that fits in the chain bar/restaurant molds. Just curious of any of your local favorites, if you have any! Just trying to have a 'list' of sorts of possibilities when we have a night out and say "Hey, we should go here or here" sort of thing.

I just got a recommendation for this place yesterday from a new friend in town! She also said to take the kids as there are a few things they might find fun over there.

Feast - they have a great menu eat in or carry out, an awesome wine list and a menu that changes monthly. Feast Tasteful Takeout

Las Candelas - it's a little bistro hidden on Limerlost just west of 1st Ave. They have tapas and a pretty wide variety of food. They're never busy and the service is great.

Those are probably my two faves! My husband likes Loving Spoonfuls, which is entirely vegan.

India Oven is good Indian food. They're on Campbell.

And also Aladin's on University is good Mediterranean food. Happy eating!

THUNDER CANYON at The Foothills Mall . . .

Absolutely the BEST Micro-Brews in Arizona (brewed right on site) along with Great Bar Food (Pizzas, Hamburgers, Salads and Appetizers) at very reasonable prices plus an Outdoor Patio for those into Fresh Air and People-Watching!

Thunder Canyon Brewery

Good Luck!

Thanks Guys! Keep 'em coming. Any info on this place? Taqueria Pico De Gallo

A friend sent me an email after finding out I lived here for recommendations of places to eat. And this was one of them.
