I'm not sure if Continental Ranch is the same as Continental Reserve, but there is an area where the groundwater supply is contaminated from chemicals, and they're working on putting in a treatment plant. Here is one of the articles about it (there have been more written, but found this one quickly):

Wow, almost bought in Continental Reserve 2 years ago and have been reconsidering the area. Would this have any effect on the Del Webb Community of Sunflower?
