Moved down to Tucson about a year ago and I am having trouble meeting women down here. Any suggestions? I have already tried all the popular bars and clubs, gym, bookstores, malls, restaurants, etc. I am 23 y.o.

I have tried various online dating sites for the past 5 years and have met 1 woman. As far as I am concerned, all dating websites are garbage.

Go down to the little coffee shops near University on Park. If you like sports, go out to some U of A ball games. Take a stroll around the college campus. If you like drinks, go to Gentle Ben's or one of the many bars on 4th Ave. There are a lot of girls in that area for the single twenty something guy!

I do agree on that, Tucson is hard to meet down to earth people that are not totally immersed in the So Cal lifestyle. Weird to see lines to get into tanning salons in a place where the sun shines year round! I have met some level headed folks at the hookah cafe on University off of Park though. The bar tender at Gentle Ben's the couple times I have gone there was awesome too, but she was an out of towner like me! But hey- out of towner or not, at least she wasn't orange!

You can try meetups. Go to meetup.com and look for posted get togethers by people with common interests: wine tasting, sports, languages, political beliefs, etc. I've actually not met any women I'd date yet in one but met some nice people and had some fun.
