The desert nights here in Tuscon are the pay off for me. I sold my home near River/ Sabino and Im looking to place a new manufactured home on a vacant piece of land. The problem is knowing which communities prohibit manufactured homes.

In an ideal condition, I want to avoid any park situation. The lot can be as small as .25 acre if there is a desert experience view.

If the property has sewer, utilities available this is better. i dont want to dig a well. I will dig a septic tank if necessary, but I will pay more and I prefer a sewer.

Does Dove Mountain allow placement of manufactured homes?

Vail looks promising, too.

How about Oro Valley?

Ill take any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

I live just outside of Oro Valley, at first glance without digging up zoning regulations my guess for areas that you are looking for would be the town of Catalina and the county islands around OV. There are a few parcels near my house that someone has put a trailer on. Was just up in Oracle over the weekend and it seemed a significant number of homes in that area were manufactured homes as well.
