Hi,

I was wondering if there is a place where I can take my car and do mechanical work on it myself somewhere in Tucson. My apartment complex doesn't allow that type of work in the parking lot.

A friends place , or if you're careful with fluids , an abandoned area in the desert somewhere . Yea people wont like that idea and I don't either because I love nature . I had to fix some stuff on my car while I was there and a lightly used trail head at the parking area was the only place I could find to do it. Leave no trace.

Maybe this guy would let you work on your car if you store it there. If not, maybe he or one of his guys would know of somewhere. Might be worth stopping in to ask, if you're in the area.
