I don't have time to truly research, but I'm going to hazard a guess because Tucson has a very high percentage of renters and people living in manufactured housing. There was a short documentary that the BBC did on Tucson a few years ago and off the top of my head they said something like 15% of the housing units in Tucson are manufactured homes. Plus lots of other houses in lower income neighborhoods that don't appraise high enough to make an impact on the tax rolls.

Not much of a middle class here, so the people that are doing okay and have a decent house have to subsidize the masses. Probably my biggest gripe about Pima County, I pay more in taxes here than I did in the Phoenix area but the roads and infrastructure are in far worse shape. Have no idea where the money goes to.

The friends and business associates of the people elected to spend it? One hand washes the other, and I’m not talking about virus hygiene.

it's best in Chandler. Not overpriced like scottsdale and not crime ridden like parts of mesa.
